Our Past Programs

Mentorship Program

Over the course of six weeks starting in January 2023, high school mentors worked with middle school students to explore the world of computer programming and video game design. Mentors met with their mentees on a weekly basis in a one-on-one setting, guiding them through the basics of block programming and Python.

Workshops

In November 2022, OpenBox Programs hosted their first workshop in collaboration with professors from the North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Virginia State University. High school and undergraduate attendees learned about applications-based coding and data processing using Python.
